松原神社 | 小田原 | 小田原流 | 御幸の浜

　御幸の浜（御幸ヶ浜）とは、小田原の海岸の名称。酒匂川の河口堰が出来る前は、川から流れる砂に恵まれ広大な砂浜であった。これら広大な砂は深い海底に徐々に浸食され、近年では浸食されにくい石と砂利が残る海岸となってきている。またこの海岸は、波打ち際より急に深く、海水浴としては向かない等の特徴がある。
海岸と町とは西湘バイパスにより隔たれ、海岸に出るためには西湘バイパスをくぐるトンネルを抜けて入る必要がある。従って、何時でも人が少ないのもその特徴といえる。

海に入ると、まず波打ち際より直ぐに深くなり足は届かない。この時点で水深３ｍ～５ｍはある。海底は浸食された砂となっているが、更に沖に向けて行くと、５０ｍ～１００ｍ付近には浸食を止める為の人工岩盤が沈められており、それら岩盤によって深さは海面より５ｍ～１０ｍ程の海底となっている。
海水が濁りの無い美しい時であれば、それら人工岩盤付近には多数の魚介類が生息しているのを見る事が出来る。勿論、す潜りによる採取は法律により禁じられている。
魚介類は概ねウニ、渡り蟹、栄螺、アワビ、海藻や、魚等安易に確認する事が出来る。そこから更に沖合に行くと、海は本来の深さとなって行き、潜っても底が見えにくい濃い青色となっていく。また、その時点まで行くと早川築港より行き来する漁船等が頻繁に運行されていて、人が泳いでいたりすると漁船の運行の邪魔になり危険である。

MIYUKIGAHAMA is an Odawara coast name. This beach was a big sandy beach before making the Sakawa river estuary barrage. This beach is a very deep from the water's edge therefore this beach is not good for a bathing beach. And this beach remains only stones and gravel because sand is an erosion to off shore gradually.
There're high way of Seisyo By-pass between beach and the town therefore we have to be passing through the tunnel of this by-pass. By this, there're too few people using and visiting this beach.

At first, this water is soon deep from edge of water we can't stand when we enter soon. It's about 3m ～ 5m deeply. This point, there're the erosion sand at the bottom of sea.
Furthermore 50m ～ 100m from edge of water, there're the artifical bedrock that sent to the bottom due to stopping sand erosion. Here is about 5m ～ 10m deeply.
If water is clean, many fish and shellfishes are able to see. It goes without saying these gather prohibition by law. Fathermore offshore over 100m from edge of water, sea is a primary depth therefore it's very dark blue when dive. And this point, many fising boats come and go from Hayakawa harbor.

　晴れた日の御幸の浜（御幸ヶ浜）からは、真鶴半島を眺める事が出来、沖合には遠く大島を見る事も出来る。逆には三浦半島、そして房総半島を見る事も出来る。

現在では唯一海水浴場として「御幸の浜」海水浴場が設けられているが、波打ち際より急に深くなる海である事から、湘南や湯河原等の海岸と異なり、泳ぎに自信がある者だけが海に入るという海水浴場となっていて、真夏の海岸であっても家族ずれや子供の姿は少ない。
御幸の浜海水浴場は遊泳範囲を示すブイが設置されていて、その部分の海底には何も無い。深さは概ね５ｍ～７、８ｍといったところであるが、ブイより外側はすぐに人工岩盤が沈められている所となり、魚介類が豊富に生息している。海水浴場では人工岩盤へ遊泳者が行かない様に監視しており、ブイより外側への遊泳は禁止されている。
また、海水浴場の隣はすぐに荒久海岸となり、その先には早川築港から出入りする漁船が多く運行され、漁船の運行の障害となる恐れがあり危険である。

　昔は小田原海岸のどの場所であっても遊泳が可能であった（現在でも自己責任で遊泳は可能）が、現在では溺者が毎年の様に現れる事で、海水浴場のみの遊泳を推めている。

大時化の時は波が西湘バイパスまで達する事から、西湘バイパスを守るための消波ブロックが永遠に続く。普段は海岸から海面は一直線に続く様に見える海も、荒れた時には波も高く、沖合から海岸へ遊泳すると、波は２階建ての家の２階から飛び降りる程の高さで海岸に戻る事が難しい。海側から見るとまさに海岸がはるか下に見える程の時もある。そのため、波が収まるのをしばらく沖合で待ち、波が落ち着いたタイミングで海岸へ戻る等の考慮が必要となる。
また、高波の時に無理して海岸へ戻ろうとすれば、波は西湘バイパスの消波ブロックに打ち付ける所まで達している事もあり、ブロックに飲み込まれてしまう危険もある。
とにかく、小田原の海は泳ぎに自信が無い人は無理に入らず、荒れてきた海に入るのも辞めておいた方が良い。
　尚、地元民が御幸の浜海岸の事を「御幸ヶ浜」と呼んでいるのは、いわゆる地方の「なまり」である。

It's possible to see a Manazuru peninsula from Miyuki beach when it's clear weather. Furthermore, it's also possible to see an Ooshima island far out at sea. Other side, Miura paninsula and Bousou peninsula are able to seen.
Now, a bathing beach is provided in a Miyuki beach but this bathing beach doesn't visit many people especially children because it's a deep soon from edge of water. This bathing beach is enclosed by buoy. There's nothing in this partial bottom of the sea. depth is about 5m ～ 7,or 8m but there're the artifical bedrock that sent to the bottom soon out of the buoy. Water guard is always checking as not to go outside of the buoy.
And this bathing place is near the Araku beach that has Hayakawa harbor therefore many fising boats come and go every time. An outside of buoy is often danger by these reasons.

Odawara coast is able to swim all place absolutely by self responsibility. However many swimming and bathing people are drowned every year therefore Odawara city recommend to swim for only bathing beach.
When it's stormy weather, a rough wave often reach to Seisyo high way. By this reason, too many vanishing wave blocks defense the high way. It goes without saying that it's too difficult to return back the beach from off shore when a wave is rough.

　沖合には泳いで行ける程の距離に漁船が常に停泊しており、漁船の往来も激しい。砂の浸食を防ぐための人工岩盤により、近いところで海岸から１００ｍ前後、遠い所でも５００ｍ以内ではときおり海底が浅い場所があるため、船の事故を防ぐための接近警告ブイが早川築港から、小田原海岸、国府津を抜けて二宮まで点々と設置されていて、船の侵入を防止している。遊泳にあっては、そのブイ辺りまでは泳いでいっても特に漁船との衝突の危険を感じる事は無いが、それより沖合まで泳ぐ場合は危険を伴う事もある。

また、御幸の浜（御幸ヶ浜）の特徴として、東に酒匂川、中央に山王川、西には早川という川からの河川の流れ込みがある事から、８月のお盆をすぎてからでも比較的クラゲの発生が遅い。既に真鶴等の海では８月中旬辺りからクラゲが徐々に増えてきて、ウェット無しで入れるのもお盆辺りまでと言われるが小田原の御幸ヶ浜にあっては、８月下旬から９月上旬までウェット無しでもクラゲに刺される事はあまり無いのも特徴と言える。

　小田原の夏といえば御幸ヶ浜花火大会を思い浮かべる人も多いと思う。毎年小田原市の花火大会は御幸ヶ浜で行われていたが、近年砂の浸食を防止するための人工岩盤等の敷設工事に伴い、一時的に花火大会の開催場を御幸ヶ浜から酒匂川に移す事となった。これはあくまで一時的な移動であると市民への約束のもと開催地を変更し、工事終了時には御幸ヶ浜へ戻すとの事であった。しかし、護岸工事が終わった今もどういう訳か花火大会は本来の御幸ヶ浜へは戻っていない。一部市民からも約束違反ではないのかとの声もあり、一時花火大会を独自に開催する運びとなったものの、台風により延期に延期を重ね、夏の花火大会が何と１２月前半までずれ込んだ事もあった。１２月に夏の御幸ヶ浜の花火大会、なんて粋な花火大会だった事でしょう。
小田原はこの美しい海を目の前に持ち大変恵まれた環境なのです。海の無い町では仕方なく河川敷において花火大会を行っているのが現実ですが小田原は違います。私たちは１日も早く約束通り夏の花火大会を御幸ヶ浜に戻し、夏の風物詩である御幸ヶ浜の花火大会が行われる事を願ってやみません。

There're some of fishing boats always anchor at offshore and many fishing boats always come and go. The artificial bedrocks which sank to bottom of water for stopping sand erosion often makes a shallow place between 100m and 500m from edge of water.
In order to accident prevention by these fishing boats, some of buoys warn a shallow place for these fising boats. This warning buoys are setting near the coast. Maybe, it's safety inside these warning buoys for swimming but I don't recommend to swim out of these buoys.
On the other hand, this beach has some characteristics. Above all, Odawara city have 3 main rivers and Miyuki beach is surrounded with these 3 rivers therefore jellyfish appearance is late time than other places.

Odawara city take place summer firework festival every year at midsummer. Too many citizens remember that the firework festival always took place at Miyuki beach every year but now this festival has moved to Sakawa river because Miyuki beach had started the shore protection works. Odawara city had promised citizens that the firework festival will return to Miyuki beach after completion of the shore protection works but the firework place hasn't returned back to Miyuki beach although the construction had already finished. I can't help wishing to return the place of the firework festival will take place at Miyuki beach again.
